Apple Vacations Delivers Millionth Visitor to Punta Cana

Apple Vacations and sister company USA3000 Airlines recently celebrated the arrival of their one millionth passenger to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Apple could not identify the individual but, using passenger count projections, estimated that the passenger was among those on board flight 102, which arrived in Punta Cana from Philadelphia at 11 a.m. on October 19 with 168 passengers. Executives from Apple Vacations, representatives from Amstar-the destination management division of Apple Vacations-and a Caribbean trio band were present upon arrival to welcome guests. Frank Rainieri, president of the Punta Cana International Airport, and Tim Mullen, senior vice president of Apple Vacations, both gave short speeches. Visit []. (JP)
