Apple Vacations Purchases GWV Vacations

Apple Vacations, a privately held company in suburban Philadelphia, has purchased GWV Vacations, a 34-year-old Boston-based vacation brand that provides vacations to New England. The combined entity will be known as "GWV Vacations, an Apple Vacations Company." GWV Vacations customers will continue to have access to existing GWV Vacations charter destinations, such as Cancun, Punta Cana, Aruba, Antigua, St. Maarten, Puerto Plata and La Romana. In addition, customers can now choose from nonstop scheduled air service from Boston via major scheduled airlines, such as US Airways, American Airlines and Delta, to Mexico, the Caribbean, Hawaii and Europe. GWV Vacations, an Apple Vacations Company, will honor current GVW Vacations commission contracts. Travel agents now have the ability to view and book GWV Vacations on [www.myappleonline.com].
