ARC Expands Marketplace Program

The Airlines Reporting Corporations (ARC) reports that its MarketPlace program is emerging as an asset for travel professionals and invites agents to explore the full range of resources ARC MarketPlace offers. ARC Marketplace has more than 5,000 commissionable destination and product suppliers targeting travel professionals and recently has added several enhancements to its website.

The ARC MarketPlace enhancements are designed to improve the user experience for agents seeking a vehicle for the booking and purchase of destination services and events. The ARC MarketPlace is an agent’s one-stop-shop for researching, planning and booking attractions, activities and transfers in more than 400 destinations worldwide, ARC says.

Among the key enhancements are an improved user interface with easier navigation for faster browsing; advanced keyword search capability; a new shopping cart; ratings for each product and reduced pages to book products.

Destination activities offered include: adventure activities, city tours, off-the-beaten-path experiences, educational tours, family-friendly activities, theater and show tickets, sightseeing passes, wine tasting, theme parks, ground transportation and day trips.
