ARC Helix Offers Regional Symposium Series

Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC) reports it has scheduled a series of symposiums to be held throughout the U.S. for members of, and those interested in joining, ARC Helix, a program that provides superior content to home-based and retail travel agents.

At the symposiums, a feature of Helix’s educational component, industry experts will share actionable ideas with attendees to help them keep their businesses successful, ARC says. Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear from motivational speakers, engage directly with various Helix preferred suppliers, and network with other Helix members.

Joanie Ogg, industry leader and principal owner of Joanie Ogg Marketing Group, and who has also acted as a consultant to ARC in planning the series, will be a guest speaker at the first Helix symposium in the Philadelphia metro area. Also presenting will be Alena Maloney, regional sales executive of Swain Tours, based in Ardmore, Pa., and Nolan Burris, international motivational speaker and author, former travel agent, and self-professed techno-geek who teaches others how to create success in their lives and businesses.

Other upcoming symposiums are planned for Chicago, Las Vegas and Fort Lauderdale. Invitations and opportunities to register for each event will be sent by email within the next few days, ARC said.

Ogg, a 35-year travel industry veteran who specializes on the topic of home-based travel agents, said, “The travel industry changes by the minute. And if smaller-sized agents are going to prosper, they will need to keep up with those changes and react with best business practices. As someone who has planned numerous educational and training events for travel professionals and organizations, including many for NACTA, I know the Helix symposiums will offer priceless information on the topics agents need to succeed.”

ARC Helix is an exclusive members-only program for home-based and retail travel agencies. It offers a preferred supplier portfolio covering all segments of travel, multiple business services, and the professional education and training opportunities to assist agencies in operating more efficiently and becoming more profitable. Helix currently features more than 30 preferred suppliers in its portfolio.
