The Association of Retail Travel Agent (ARTA) confirmed the passing of Bruce Bishins, president and CEO of ARTA Canada on January 16. Bishins also served in an executive capacity for ARTA in the U.S. Bishins was 62.
Bishins was a powerful and often controversial advocate of travel agents and a respected innovator and educator. Additional details are to be announced. Bishins was a Certified Travel Counselor (CTC).
