ASTA Assists Agency Recruitment with Job Board

ASTA's new job board will offer ASTA members a cost-effective way to post job opportunities at a discounted rate and may help find the next generation of travel professionals. Through its for-profit subsidiary, ASTA Marketing Services, Inc. (AMSI), ASTA reported that the Travel Staffing Group,, will power new job board.

“The Travel Staffing Group was chosen as a partner for our job board because of its track record and reputation for being a premier resource for travel industry jobs," said Bob Kern, AMSI president. "With this partnership, we can provide our members valuable tools to help advance their career objectives, as well as attract job seekers with relevant job skills to the industry."

"The Travel Staffing Group will be providing recruitment advertising solutions to ASTA members in direct response to industry employment trends," said Gayle Walsh, president of The Travel Staffing Group. "We are excited about this opportunity to provide more targeted job opportunities in the travel industry."

Employers can post jobs for 30 days on the site for the discounted ASTA member rate of $99. For $179, ASTA members can post jobs and have access to the board, as well as the national resume database, for a 30-day period. Employers will only find candidates with adequate travel industry experience in fields that complement the business of selling travel, such as: travel agents, tour operators, host agencies, transportation service agents and more.

Travel agents, students and recent graduates can post their resumes on the site and search for current job opportunities as well. ASTA's Job Board will give travel employers a cost-effective way to attract qualified travel candidates to their travel-related positions.

ASTA Marketing Services, Inc. (AMSI) is a for-profit subsidiary of ASTA which provides and discounts products and services as an ASTA member benefit.
