With the Airlines Reporting Corp.'s proposed agency fee hike moving along to its board for approval on December 6, the American Society of Travel Agents has reiterated its intention to pursue legal options should the fee be approved. ASTA will head to the Independent Arbitration Panel for help in deterring ARC's proposed fee, which it has deemed the move one "only a monopolist could pull off." ARC maintains that the fee is necessary to support the organization's recent investments, including the support of its technology systems. (JM)
