ASTA Webinar Examines New ‘09 Rules

Travel agents can get a timely review of new federally mandated Secure Flight and Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) program from a webinar offered by ASTA. Paul Ruden, ASTA's senior vice president of legal and industry affairs, and Colin Tooze, ASTA's vice president of government affairs, will present the webinar December 18 at 12 p.m. EST.

"2009 Government Regulations that Travel Agents Must Know” will cover next year’s government rules that will affect travel and travel agents. Included in the seminar is expert advice on the new Secure Flight data agents will be required to solicit from customers in 2009. This seminar also will review the new online pre-authorization program for Visa Waiver Program visitors. ESTA becomes mandatory on January 12, 2009.
