Avalon Waterways and Globus  are offering travelers choice and personalization by enhancing custom cruise and tour options with its introduction of in its MyAvalon and MyGlobus tools. Travel agents can benefit from a new revenue stream, as they earn 5 percent commission on all Globus and Avalon pre-purchased optional excursions.
 
Using MyAvalon, cruisers can access Avalon’s comprehensive online Service Center to pre-register for their cruise, choose and pre-pay select optional excursions, request bed configuration, list any dietary preferences or needs and even purchase Alcohol and Non-Alcohol Drink Packages as well as Celebration Packages for such special events as a birthday, anniversary or vow renewal. When they return home, travelers will also receive a special offer on a future cruise. Similarly, MyGlobus invites travelers to pre-register their tour as well as view and pre-purchase optional activities and excursions.

MyGlobus and MyAvalon join the MyMonograms program, launched in 2010, providing travelers similar customization choices and agents the same commission—centric opportunities.
