Avis to Outfit Cars With WiFi

The New York Times reports that Avis Rent A Car is set to make WiFi available to its customers by March. For $10.95 per day, Avis will issue motorists a small portable device that plugs into a car's power unit, delivering high-speed Internet capability. Avis says it intends to make a formal announcement within a week.
