Avoya Travel has announced it will honor over 90 independent agencies in the company's annual "Independent Agency Best of the Best" program for producing millions in annual sales in 2015, a 30 percent increase in winners from 2014.
Avoya’s "Best of the Best" program was started in 2011 to recognize Independent Agencies for top sales and outstanding customer service. Qualifying agencies are recognized in one of three categories based on annual sales levels, including: "Best of the Best" for agencies which sold more than $1 million in 2015; "President’s Circle" for agencies which sold more than $2 million; and "Chairman’s Club" for agencies which sold over $3 million in 2015.
In 2015, 74 agencies made over $1 million in sales, 14 agencies made over $2 million in sales and seven made over $3 million in annual sales.
Avoya’s "Best of the Best" Independent Agencies will be recognized and awarded at the 2016 Avoya Travel Conference from May 2-6 at Club Med Sandpiper Bay in Port St. Lucie, Florida. "Best of the Best" Independent Agencies will be awarded a trophy and complimentary trip to Ireland made available through Avoya and CIE Tours International from November 7-13, 2016.
