Become an NYC Specialst

NYC & Company, the city's marketing, tourism and partnership organization, has just launched its NYC Training Academy program, designed for US-based agents looking to become experts on The Big Apple .

The program includes seven training modules, each followed with a 10-question quiz. Agents are able to become knowledgeable on the city's neighborhoods, hotels, dining, nightlife, shopping, culture and attractions. After successfully completing the program agents will be full-fledged NYC Specialists.

Travel agents must achieve an 80 percent success rate on all seven modules.

Specialists traveling to the city can receive bonus offers including complimentary breakfasts, free tours and 50 percent off discounts for accompanying guests.
