In order to educate travel agents about its new marketing strategy and goals for working more closely with travel agents, Best Western is inviting travel agents to take part in an online Webinar on April 13 from 2 to 3 p.m. EDT.

Agents who participate in the Webinar are eligible to win $250 in Travelcards to be used at any Best Western location worldwide.

The company’s new corporate strategy, which was rolled out to consumers in February 2011, is designed to explain the various product experiences of its hotels and set guest expectations at the point of booking by categorizing properties via three descriptors in the U.S. and Canada: Best Western, Best Western Plus and Best Western Premier. Best Western Premier describes hotels with physical attributes similar to upscale hotels; Best Western Plus relates to upper midscale properties; and Best Western describes midscale properties.
