Bonaire Welcomes New Commissioner of Tourism


Tourism Corporation Bonaire announced that Jeffrey Levenstone has been appointed as the new Commissioner of Tourism.

A Bonairean native, in the past decade Commissioner Levenstone has served in various managerial positions on the field of social affairs, human resources, parking and mobility, and fast moving consumer goods. Prior to his new position as Commissioner of Tourism, he served as Head of the Department of Economic and Labor Affairs. 

“I look forward to assuming the position of Commissioner of Tourism at this particularly challenging time in the global marketplace, when we are all called upon to work together to come up with new and innovative ways to keep Bonaire in the forefront of sustainable tourism,” stated  Levenstone.

Commissioner Levenstone is a graduate of the Academy Human Resources in Tiburg, The Netherlands and Jones University, where he earned his MBA in Project Management.
