Carlson Wagonlit Travel Associates Going Strong

During the first five months of 2006 Carlson Wagonlit Travel Associates experienced solid growth as it attracted six independently owned and operated travel agencies with 19 locations and annual sales volume of more than $153 million to its Associate (franchise) program. The agencies are geographically spread in Colorado, Georgia, Minnesota, New York, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Vermont. Roger E. Block, executive vice president of the Carlson Wagonlit Travel Associate division noted that the average sales per location of CWT's associate agencies total more than $8 million. He also noted that the addition of these 19 locations—while not a change of ownership—links franchisees together with a premier name in travel. The new Carlson Wagonlit Travel Associates include Advantage Travel based in Savage, MN; All-Ways Travel in Knoxville, TN; Bentley Hedges Travel in Oklahoma City, OK; Child Travel in Colchester, VT; High Plains Travel in Colorado Springs, CO; and Pace Travel in Atlanta, GA.
