CCRA Promotes Lawrence to Global Post

Industry veteran Bill Lawrence has been promoted to director of CCRA Travel Solutions' new Global Network Division, according to CCRA president Dic Marxen. Lawrence, who previously served as CCRA's director of supplier strategies, is now responsible for all aspects of CCRA's global supplier relationships and will report to Peter Pincus, president of CCRA’s Global Network Division.
CCRA announced its international expansion earlier this year, with goals of becoming a leading travel industry provider in the global market. In addition to CCRA's already well-established U.S. hotel and supplier programs, dynamic booking engine for travel professionals and after-hours 24/7 call center, the company has aggressive plans to create new products and service offerings to boost travel agency and hotel revenues worldwide.

"Lawrence has been an integral member of our company since he first came onboard with us four years ago, and he has contributed immensely to CCRA's continued growth and success in the U.S. market," Marxen said. "He will be a key player in our international development team — through building and establishing new supplier relationships abroad."

Lawrence first came to CCRA with more than 30 years’ experience in the travel and hotel industry. He has held prominent sales, marketing and corporate development positions at top international hotel chains including InterContinental Hotels, Hilton International, ITT Sheraton and CIGA Hotels, Inc.
