On April 29 CCRA Travel Commerce Network experienced a record number of more than 200 travel agent attendees at its PowerSolutions Event held in Miami, Florida, at the Crowne Plaza Miami International Airport Hotel.
This followed CCRA’s first show of the year that also broke previous event attendance records, held on February 19 in Anaheim, California. Travel agent attendance at CCRA’s first two 2015 Regional Travel Event shows has more than tripled since CCRA first debuted its PowerSolutions regional travel event series for travel professionals and suppliers in 2014. The four remaining PowerSolutions shows will be held in the following cities this summer and fall: Boston, MA; Washington, DC; Newark, NJ; and Long Island, NY.
The 2015 events have been expanded over last year, with more diverse opportunities for the travel agent community to network and develop relationships. Suppliers in attendance include hotels & resorts, airlines, car rental companies, tour operators, cruise lines, travel technology providers, and more. Travel agents will learn about CCRA's enhanced agent offerings, commissionable hotel and airline booking platforms and educational opportunities. OSSN and TRUE, Inc. member representatives are available to answer questions about membership benefits, including OSSN's new Marketing Tools Online Training program beginning this May that will train OSSN travel professionals to use the latest online tools, social media platforms and marketing programs to communicate more effectively in the online travel marketplace and advance their businesses.
Agents will also learn how they can earn more profits through CCRA’s CCRAtravel.com hotel booking engine and the new CCRA AirSelect Central air booking engine.
The 2015 PowerSolutions events are held at Intercontinental Hotel Group properties in each city as the CCRA “Power Sponsor” for the 2015 PowerSolutions Event series. The after work events are held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and complimentary refreshments and snacks are served as travel agent attendees mix and mingle in a casual atmosphere with leading suppliers from around the world.
