JetBlue earlier this week promoted COO Russ Chew to President. Chew will work with CEO Dave Barger on maintaining the low-cost carrier's strategic plan. Barger, JetBlue's previous president, was promoted to CEO earlier this year to replace founding CEO David Neeleman, who departed the post in May. "Since Russ joined our team, we have established the right foundation for continuous improvement," Barger said in a statement. "Russ will help lead our efforts to develop JetBlue's long-term business strategy that values our culture and takes full advantage of our financial opportunities."
