China Airlines Extends Content Agreement with Travelport GDS

Travelport GDS has renewed its content distribution agreement with Taiwan-based carrier, China Airlines. This development extends the current agreement Travelport has with the airline and will provide agents with greater ease in booking content along with improved service delivery for their customers. As part of the agreement, China Airlines will implement automated market fares on the Galileo system in Taiwan, allowing agents to access the most up-to-date fares on the carrier.  The new agreement will also extend functionalities currently available on the Galileo GDS, such as Interactive Seat Assignment, View PNR and Complete Booking Record, to Worldspan connected agents worldwide. Additionally, China Airlines will continue its subscription to Travelport’s Business Intelligence division for its Marketing Information Data Tapes (MIDT) which provides timely insight into the booking performance of Travelport GDS connected travel agencies.
