david beahm design announced today that Christina Matteuci has been promoted to executive director, effective immediately. Reporting directly to company founder and president, event designer David Beahm, Matteuci will head the firm's new "david beahm destinations" program, set to launch November 2010.
Expanding her former position as senior client services manager, Matteucci will head the program to feature 27 destinations worldwide that Beahm and Matteucci have chosen to host events and romantic getaways for bridal parties and their prominent clientele, including the wedding of Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas, Merrill Lynch, the New York Philharmonic and Sotheby's.
A San Francisco native, Matteuci received her Bachelor of Arts in Drama and English/American Literature from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. In 2003, she moved from retail management to work with david beahm design, where she has been recognized for her accessibilty, speed and accuracy.
