Classic Launches TRAMS Connectivity

Classic Vacations has integrated TRAMS ClientBase Plus with its internal system through LiveConnect in order to boost the sales-effectiveness capabilities of its travel agent network. Classic says this change enables the automated exchange of itinerary information between itself and TRAMS, thus reducing the time agents spend manually entering information. The adoption also lays the foundation for additional automation of data sharing in the future. The integration with ClientBase, says Greg Bernd, Classic's vice president of sales, will help agents build sales through improved customer relations and personalized service. Retailers can register with Classic for the ClientBase service by downloading a faxable form at [www.classicforagents.com/agency_resources.aspx].
