Kelly Nevins has been named director of tour management at Collette Vacations, according to a Friday morning release from the company. Nevins will replace Joseph Cromwell, who held the position for six years before opting for another position within Collette.
"I am very excited to have Kelly onboard as she comes to us with strong strategic, communication and training skills," said Paula Twidale, executive vice president of Collette. "Her experience in consumer relations and non profit will certainly prove valuable in our customer centric company."
In her role at Collette, Nevins will be responsible for tour manager performance and the enhancement of the on tour customer experience. Other duties will include building organizational efficiencies, recruiting, training, scheduling and communication.
Nevins comes to Collette from Boston Medical Center HealthNet Plan, where she has served as the manager of community relations and outreach since 2006. She was recognized as one of Providence Business News' 2006 "40 Under Forty" and in 2002 was named YWCA "Outstanding Woman in Health & Human Services."
