Coral Sands Travel, LaBelle, FL, a host agency, has formed a separate cruise-only host agency named World Cruising Society, according to Peter Stilphen, CEO of Coral Sands Travel.
Stilphen, an outspoken critic of multi-level marketing companies, said the new host agency was formed to “provide an alternative to the multi-level marketing travel agencies that are sprouting up everywhere.”
“World Cruising Society is offering new and experienced travel agents the opportunity to join a reputable host agency for a small fraction of what it would cost to join and maintain an affiliation with an MLM model host agency,” Stilphen said.
World Cruising Society will be all about training and support of its affiliates. It is only seeking the serious cruise agent. The cost to join is just $150 per year with no other charges. An affiliate can also have its own consumer search website for $200 per year, Stilphen said.
The new cruise only host agency will have no effect upon its parent as a full service host agency, Stilphen said. “The purpose of forming a cruise only host agency is to offer those agents who desire to sell only cruises an opportunity to do so at a cost that makes sense to them as an independent travel agent.”
Stilphen also noted that Coral Sands Travel's cruise portion of its business has been doubling each year of its five years in business and remains profitable, privately owned and debt free company. Visit www.worldcruisingsociety.com.
