CruiseOne and Cruises Inc. Launch Land Division

CruiseOne and Cruises Inc., both part of World Travel Holdings, have launched their first-ever land division with 10 top tour and resort partners. As part of the new integrated program, 1,000 plus CruiseOne franchise owners and Cruises Inc. independent agents are now officially licensed to sell land travel and will be rewarded for doing so with exclusive incentives.

“While our new land division will evolve over time, the network of Preferred Land Partners we have assembled out of the gate will be our primary focus,” said Dwain Wall, senior vice president and General Manager of CruiseOne and Cruises Inc.

“We are fully prepared to offer our official land partners the same unprecedented level of support we have offered our top cruise line partners over the past 27 years, with an array of innovative marketing, training and sales support programs. In exchange, our franchise owners and agents will now have access to exclusive land-based travel promotions and the highest possible land commissions,” Wall said.

The new land division of CruiseOne and Cruises Inc. will be rolled out in several phases. The first phase includes the following ten Preferred Land Partners: Apple Vacations, Club Med, Disney, Funjet Vacations, Globus Family of Brands, GOGO Worldwide Vacations, Sandals Resorts, Trafalgar, Travel Impressions and US Air Vacations.

Future phases expected to launch over the next 24 months will include the addition of new Official Land Partners, in order to fully support consumer demand and agents’ growing needs for suppliers.

In preparation for the official rollout of its land division, CruiseOne and Cruises Inc. implemented several new strategic initiatives to ensure a seamless transition for agents and consumers. Business operations enhancements included designing a new land-friendly invoice and crafting a “train the trainer”-style continuing education program for the companies’ Fort Lauderdale Headquarters staff.

CruiseOne and Cruises Inc. have also begun integrating land content into their initial training program for new agents and have debuted a new continuing education program for existing agents.

Bryan Shilling, vice president of Product Development for The Mark Travel Corporation said, “Funjet Vacations is excited to join forces with CruiseOne and Cruises Inc. as a preferred partner for their new land initiative.  CruiseOne and Cruise Inc. have demonstrated tremendous vision and growth in cruise sales and we anticipate the new land program to be just as successful.  The core values of our companies align well, in that we both strive to provide travelers with the best possible products and services.”
