CruiseOne & Cruises Inc. announced the appointment of Luis Zuniga as vice president of marketing. Based at the companies' joint headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Zuniga will be responsible for developing and managing corporate marketing initiatives, as well as overseeing the marketing programs of more than 1,100 franchise owners and independent contractors.
Zuniga comes to CruiseOne & Cruises Inc. from the Burger King Corporation in Miami, where he held the position of senior marketing manager for Latin America and the Caribbean. During this time, he oversaw the launch of more than 20 new products and managed 16 targeted demographic marketing initiatives.
Previously, Zuniga served in several other positions at the Burger King Corporation, including senior marketing manager for North America, where he led product innovation and strategic marketing initiatives for 8,000 restaurants.
Zuniga is a graduate of the University of Virginia, where he received his master's in business administration from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration. He holds an undergraduate degree from Duke University.
