CruiseVoyant.com Adds Cruise Search Tool

keyboardSouth Florida-based cruise travel agency, Cruise Voyant, reports it has added geo-targeting to the website, www.CruiseVoyant.com. The cruise booking feature allows consumers to find cruises that depart from ports near them as well as locate cruise deals that for their specific state of residence.

By clicking on the Geo-Target button, the technology powering the tool generates a list of cruises with nearby departure ports. This tool eliminates the need for consumers to research cruise ports located nearby, the company said. Consumers have instant access to a list of cruises that depart from their area without having to complete multiple searches.

“This is the first time a cruise search site has offered the option for personalized, location-based search results,” Jack Field, founder of Cruise Voyant, said. “We’re using our own custom geo-targeting tool to provide users the best cruise search and booking experience possible.”

Specific itineraries that offer cruise resident discounts are also included in search results generated by the Geo-Target too, the company says. Many Mediterranean and Caribbean itineraries offer a discount to residents of certain states, even though the departure port is not within the U.S., they note.
