It was announced Tuesday that the official program for the Dominican Annual Tourism Exchange (DATE) 2009 will include exclusive events for attendees at the newly-opened Iberostar Grand Hotel Bavaro and The Reserve at Paradisus Palma Real.

The Barceló Bavaro Convention Center, venue of the event, also has a new property: the Barceló Bávaro Palace Junior Suites Deluxe with 488 Junior Suites right on the beach. This property launches the new luxury resort concept that Barceló is developing all around the world. The Iberostar Grand Hotel Bavaro will host DATE´s Welcome Reception to kick off the event. The hotel, only for adults, has 260 suites, 13 Grand Suites with ocean view and a Presidential Suite. The traditional Dominican Evening will take a place at The Reserve at Paradisus Palma Real. It has 192 suites which include private gardens and pools. The Reserve also has three pools, three restaurants, and a full spa and health club. DATE’s social activities, scheduled for April 20-21, offers the opportunity for main tour operators and  international media to experience the novelties of the Bavaro-Punta Cana destination.
