Durband Takes Over Travcoa

This month, Randy Durband officially succeeded Jerre Fuqua as president of luxury travel operator Travcoa, a shift announced earlier this summer, when Intrav—where Durband previously served as president—was absorbed by Travcoa. In 2006, Fuqua became president of First Choice Expeditions, Travcoa's parent company, simultaneously continuing in his role as president of Travcoa. With Durband's appointment, Fuqua continues in his post as president of First Choice Expeditions. Prior to joining Intrav, Durband spent close to 20 years at Tauck World Discovery.

"Many of the Travcoa staff members have known and respected Randy for years, so he already feels like a part of the family," Fuqua said in a statement. "Randy's leadership at Intrav and past industry experience made him absolutely the right person to take the reins at Travcoa." Visit [www.travcoa.com].
