Friedman Departs Trafalgar; New President Named

Trafalgar Tours has appointed Paul Wiseman as president, following the departure of Robert Friedman, who took over for outgoing president John Severini on September 21. Friedman, who joined Trafalgar as vice president of sales for the company in August, took over Severini's post after Severini announced plans to join his wife Kim in her travel marketing and sales company. With less than month of presidency under his belt, Friedman decided the position was not for him and so Trafalgar on Tuesday announced the promotion of Wiseman to president from his current post as managing director for Trafalgar's Australia operations. Prior to joining the tour operator, Wiseman worked with Contiki Holidays and Avis Rent A Car and also spent some time as a travel agent. (JM)
