From Partnerships to Prizes, Luxury Travel Expo Is Deluxe!

THE NINTH ANNUAL LUXURY TRAVEL EXPO IN LAS VEGAS IS SHAPING UP TO BE THE BEST YET. From start to finish, it's going to be an event full of great prizes, new partnerships and a few surprises that keep the show fresh and exciting with each passing year. Alicia Evanko, CMP

At the opening breakfast from 7:30-8:30 a.m. on December 5, join the presidents of Brendan Worldwide Vacations, Insight Vacations, Red Carnation Hotel Collection, Trafalgar Tours and Uniworld Grand River Cruises and dine in style as you experience an informative presentation highlighting the variety of vacations each company offers.

After breakfast you'll be treated to a Luxury Travel Expo interactive first. Roger Dow, president and CEO of the Travel Industry Association, will deliver a thought-provoking discussion about travel and tourism, and then will actively engage the audience through the use of a touch-pad device stationed at each table. You will have the opportunity to respond immediately to Dow's speech. And teamed with other attendees, you'll also have a chance to win $4,000 in American Express Gift Cards that will be distributed to winning teams as prizes in the interactive Q&A portion of the presentation.

Prizes and Entertainment During the General Sessions

In addition, you'll have plenty more chances to win during both Wednesday's and Thursday's general sessions. There will be raffle drawings for five phenomenal shopping sprees: two $500 gift cards to Saks and three $500 gift cards to the Grand Canal Shoppes/Fashion Show Mall!

Finally, you'll be dancing in your seats by the end of this year's opening general session as we wrap up the morning with a few tunes from the Broadway and Vegas hit Mamma Mia! Whether or not you're a big ABBA fan, you won't be able to resist this fun and infectious performance.

Shop Las Vegas and America's Premier Shopping Places join with Luxury Travel Expo for the first-ever official shopping partnership to create a one-of-a-kind shopping experience for travel agent attendees. Visit them at Luxury Travel Expo to enter to win one of ten Shop & Dine packages and to learn more about commissionable shopping packages. More details can be found on the web site.

Also on the exhibit floor, two lucky travel agents will win a three-night stay in Las Vegas that includes first-class airfare for two, compliments of Delta Airlines; luxurious accommodations, compliments of GOGO Worldwide Vacations; and a dinner and show for two, courtesy of the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority.

Partnership with Continental Airlines Vacations

And finally, this year I'm proud to introduce our new partnership with Continental Airlines. With more than 200 destinations worldwide and a wide range of specialty programs covering such niche activities as skiing and scuba diving, Continental Airlines Vacations offers one of the most dynamic vacation programs in the travel industry.
