Funjet Vacations has added a hurricane component to its pre-travel penalty waiver package to allay the concerns of skittish travelers still shaken from last year's historic hurricane season, the company reported. Travelers who purchase the company's PTPW package will receive money back for unused or interrupted days and nights if their vacation is interrupted by a hurricane. Adult travelers will also receive a $100 per person "Fresh Start" Funjet Vacations certificate redeemable on their next vacation. Children receive a $50 certificate. Funjet Vacation's PTPW costs $69 per person and allows a client to cancel at any time, for any reason prior to departure. The hurricane component is included in the cost. The company defines an interrupted vacation as one in which, "travelers are displaced from their hotel room for 24 hours or more due to the result of a category 1 or greater hurricane."
