Funjet Vacations Announces New Commission Policies

Funjet Vacations reports it has amended its Customer Care booking and commission policies. Effective immediately, commission levels will be maintained at the agency’s highest level. Previously these bookings were subject to a five percent commission.

In addition, agents will be able to maintain access to bookings when they have been modified by Funjet’s Customer Care department. Funjet has also reduced the booking processing fee to $20 per reservation. This translates into a savings of $60 per couple or $140 for a family of four.

“We know our travel agent partners are as valuable to us in these transactions as in any other customer transaction. Our agents asked for us to review our current policies, and we listened,” said Mike Going, president of Funjet Vacations. “We have committed to making it easy and profitable to do business with Funjet and our continued actions speak to that commitment.”

VAXVacationAccess, available 24/7, is the quickest and easiest way to book Funjet Vacations and no booking fees are applied to VAX bookings, Funjet says.

"Funjet recognizes, however, that there are certain instances where agents need more assistance. Funjet Customer Care will book or modify reservations, and will now fully protect the agency’s highest commission level. Recognizing that access to view, modify or apply payments to bookings is critical to the agent/customer relationship, Funjet has enhanced its’ technology offering and now enables the agent to maintain access to the booking," Funjet says.

Funjet Customer Care is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year for issues that arise the day before or during travel.  For bookings and other services Customer Care has the following hours: Monday – Friday: 8:00am to 8:00pm CST; Saturday: 10:00am to 2:00pm CST and Sundays: closed.
