Gap Adventures announced Wednesday the appointment of Steve Lima to Marketing Manager for its U.S. operations. Lima previously worked at Collette Vacations, where he served as marketing and online marketing manager for the past six years.
"I am thrilled that Steve Lima has joined our US division of Gap Adventures," said Cyndi Zesk, general manager at Gap Adventures. "His marketing talent, travel industry knowledge, and enthusiastic Œdo the right thing‚ attitude make him a perfect fit for the culture of this company," she says.
Lima said he was impressed by the Gap Adventures' product line, along with the company's history. Joining at one of the busiest times of the year, Lima is already promoting Gap Adventures' new brochure, which will be available to agents by December 19. He is focused on building brand awareness not only in the agent community, but also throughout the American consumer market.
Working from its new US headquarters in Providence, RI, Lima will collaborate with the company's marketing managers in Toronto, London, and Melbourne.
