Gestation Inc., a travel business and marketing consulting firm, has been appointed marketing and promotion agent for The Travel Offer Network, according to Michael Stone, president of Gestation.
The Travel Offer Network enables suppliers to market special offers, coupons and promotions directly to over 3,000 primarily home-based travel agents and their customers.
The Travel Offer Network’s agents are all users of Open Travel CRM, a web-based customer relationship management and marketing desktop for travel agents. OTC was launched in September 2007 and has over 3,000 travel agents trained on and using the system today.
The Travel Offer Network offers an easy-to-use web portal where suppliers’ offers can quickly be uploaded or created and published. Once published, the supplier’s offer is immediately placed into the agent’s CRM and marketing desktop. The agent using OTC can then search the offers. They can also be linked with customer profiles and preferences that are stored within the agent’s customer database. Agents can also generate e-mail campaigns using the supplier offer directly to their customers under their own name and branding.
