Hawaii Expands Smoking Ban

Hawaii's restrictions on smoking expand on November 16 to encompass public places, including bars, restaurants and office buildings, as well as enclosed and partially enclosed airports and other public-transportation venues under state or county authority. This new legislation, signed into law by Hawaii Gov. Linda Lingle, supercedes and strengthens existing county regulations.
