Higher Gas Prices Changing Travel Plans

According to a survey by The Conference Board, one third of U.S. travelers are changing their vacation plans because of higher prices at the pump. Sixty-three percent of families surveyed said they would stay closer to home, while 26 percent had postponed or cancelled a vacation due to gas prices. Five thousand households were surveyed.
