IHG Introduces Best Price Guarantee Initiative

Call it ironic, but it can be common for travelers to book a hotel room at one advertised rate and then find out about a price break or a deal afterwards.

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has launched a “Best Price Guarantee” initiative to better serve guests that book on any of IHG’s brand sites by offering alternative cost solution where needed.

Any guest who finds a qualifying, lower room price for an IHG hotel elsewhere online will receive their first night free, and the rest of their stay will match the price found.

“Best Price Guarantee” benefits are available at all eight of IHG’s hotel brands. They include InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Hotel Indigo, Crowne Plaza Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Inn Hotels and Resorts, Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites.

Now through September 24, IHG will celebrate the start of “Best Price Guarantee” by giving away 250 hotel room nights.

To enter this contest, consumers must follow @PriorityClub or visit ihg.com/bestprice and tweet a response to the question “What would you do with a free night?” to the hashtag #BestPriceGuarantee. Each day, 50 room nights will be awarded.

Along with this guarantee, those who book directly on any IHG brand website will also receive benefits from the new “Book With Us Advantage” promotion.

Guests who book directly on IHG websites can choose from the most available room and price types for all IHG hotels. Guests can also receive reward points from Priority Club Rewards program.
