Avoya Travel has appointed a new vice president, Jeff Lavender. Lavender will play a key role in leading Avoya’s corporate strategy and development initiatives, Avoya said, supporting the company’s future growth and strategic positioning.
Lavender has over 20 years of experience with a travel industry background driving global sales, maximizing revenue and margin growth, leading teams, strategic planning, product development, and employing new technology.
Lavender’s previous experience encompasses senior leadership and business development positions for travel companies including: Travel Impressions and American Express Vacations, Viator.com, EuropAssistance, Macau.com, Travelport France, Travelocity Europe, Preview Travel, and Amadeus. Lavender holds an International Executive MBA from INSEAD in Paris and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration for Travel Industry Management from the University of Hawaii.
