LAN Appoints New Vice President

LAN Airlines appointed Pablo Yunis as its vice president of North and Central America for the carrier?s passenger division. Based at LAN?s North American headquarters in Miami, Yunis is responsible for the airline?s passenger operations in the U.S., Canada and Central America, including the oversight of sales and marketing, accounting and cost control, operations and reservations and ticket offices. Yunis, who joined LAN Airlines 10 years ago, was most recently the company?s commercial director for Europe, where he was based in Madrid for almost four years. Throughout his career with LAN, he spearheaded the company?s migration to e-ticketing, directed the U.S. call center operation, and oversaw sales for the southern region of the United States.
