Leading Luxury Tradeshow Positions Itself With Comprehensive Appointment-Based Program

Questex Hospitality + Travel, the largest multimedia organization in the world dedicated to travel and lodging, today unveiled Luxury Travel Exchange International (LTX), an invitation-only event designed to bring luxury travel advisors together with luxury and premium travel suppliers in an exclusive, interactive format.

LTX will debut November 27 to 29 at The Palazzo® Las Vegas, one of the world’s most luxurious resort and convention destinations and the largest property in the United States to receive AAA’s Five Diamond and Forbes Travel Guide’s Four Star awards. The event evolves from and replaces Luxury Travel Expo, known as the industry’s largest gathering of luxury travel advisors in North America, and its traditional tradeshow format.

“It is always our goal to provide an exceptional experience for the supplier and advisor community. While we’ve had significant success in meeting these expectations with Luxury Travel Expo, we recognize standing still is not an option, and it is necessary to advance from a traditional tradeshow to a measurable targeted format," said Jennifer Fernandez, show and event director, Questex Travel Group. “LTX will offer a quantifiable approach with one-to-one appointments, ample networking opportunities and a superior education program. Everything about LTX will reinforce the genre of products and services that luxury travel advisors seek for their most discerning clients.”

Travel advisors will be selected based on a review of Questex Hospitality + Travel’s proprietary database of “proven bookers” of affluent travel. “Questex retains the largest and most exclusive database of qualified sellers in the world. LTX delegates will be selected based on buying power and category of bookings recorded and tracked by our industry-exclusive data collection system," commented Marilyn McHugh, Questex Hospitality + Travel’s vice president of global events. “By inviting the most qualified participants and organizing an appropriate balance of formal and informal activities, we will create a high-quality interactive event that is highly conducive to doing business.”

“LTX will continue a tradition of delivering a strong educational and networking program that provides luxury travel advisors with rich opportunities to advance their knowledge of luxury travel and improve their business year-round,” stated John McMahon, Questex Hospitality + Travel’s executive vice president. “Over the last 13 years, we have been responsible for uniting and leading travel advisors into the luxury travel market as a more profitable way to run their business. All through that process we preached change and evolution. Now it is our turn to reset our event for the future. Technology and market intelligence have given us the ability to provide an even more productive environment to our buyer and seller audience than ever before. The end result will be enriched luxury travel advisors booking more luxury suppliers than any single event worldwide.”
