Leisure Travel Up in January

Pegasus Solutions, a provider of technology and services to hotels and travel distributors, has just issued The Pegasus View for January 2010, an industry report that draws from both GDS and ADS booking data.

The results? Based on three billion transactions for over 95,000 hotel distribution customers, The Pegasus View shows that leisure travelers are more confident, but business travelers still remain vigilant.

Leisure travel booked through ADS was up 13.93 percent above 2009, 9.13 percent above 2008 and 33.83 percent above 2007. However business bookings went down 6.93 percent since 2009.
