MAST Travel Network has announced its seminar and speaker schedule for its annual training fair and fall product launch, MAST Sales Sensation. The conference will be held Tuesday, November 13, at Drury Lane Theatre and Conference Center in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. The one day event features eight seminars and MAST's largest interactive trade show of the year with 85 exhibitors. Over 320 travel agency owners and agent professionals will attend, MAST reports.
In-depth destination seminars include Alaska, Italy and South America. Alaska will be presented by The Travel Institute and David Kasser, vice president of the tourism department and sales department at Visit Anchorage. Italy will be presented by Andrea Sertolli, president of Select Italy. Agents will learn about Central and South America's fastest growing destinations in a seminar presented by Avanti Destinations.
Celebrity Cruises will feature a "Suite-Life" experience giving MAST agents visual insight and a taste of modern luxury. "Partnering with Experts in Travel Technology" will be presented by Travel Bound. Club Med will present a seminar on how to be more profitable selling ski and exotic all-inclusive resorts worldwide.
"A Day in the Life of a Travel Agent" will be presented Alan Gerstner, The Travel Doctor. Client Base will conduct two seminars, one on using your customer database to build and sustain your business and the other on using reports to manage, market and understand your database.
In honor of the Summer Olympics in London this year, the event is themed, "Going for Gold‚" John Werner, MAST's president said.
MAST Travel Network has nearly 200 agency members in ten states and Canada.
