It’s working, Monograms reports. In three months, more than 1,200 travel agents have taken part in – and graduated from – Monograms’ new specialist program, Monograms Booking Agent (called “MBA” for short). That’s an average of 80 MBA graduates a week since the program launched in mid-November, Monogram says.
“Our new independent travel agent specialists have gone through three, core online modules: 1) The Case for Simplified Travel, 2) By Destination – How We Do It and 3) How Do I Sell Monograms and to Whom,” said Paula Hayes, vice president of sales for the Globus family of brands.
“And they’ve each scored a 90 percent or above on the final exam, giving them the title of MBA. By becoming independent travel experts with Monograms, they’re well-positioned to earn twice as much than with ordinary FIT in a third of the time," Hayes says.
And, according to Hayes, Monograms’ bookings are up more than 20 percent with growth in destinations worldwide.
