MSC Cruises USA president and two term CLIA marketing committee chair, Rick Sasso, remarked: “Knowledge is power. Over 1,700 travel professionals have completed this meaningful certification program and are positioned to seize the opportunity represented by this powerful market segment. MSC Cruises is thrilled to assist SNG as they strive to certify 2,000 by Memorial Day. Additionally, successful completion of this program entitles agents to receive five CLIA Certification Credits which can be applied to their CLIA ACC or MCC Certification. It’s a win-win.”

SNG president Andrew Garnett stated: “We are more than grateful to Rick and MSC for their support of this initiative and hope that the opportunity to experience the MSC product, firsthand, will compel those agents who are not aware of the rapidly growing special needs traveler.”

To qualify travel professionals must successfully complete the SNG Certified Accessible Travel Advocate program by 11:59pm, May 26, 2014. Drawing will be held May 28, 2014. All SNG Certified Accessible Travel Advocates are eligible. (Complete details can be found at
