Announces 5th Annual Conference

los, the hosting division of Montrose Travel, has announced the dates and theme for their 2013 Annual Educational Conference for their independent travel professional affiliates. The conference will take place October 3-7, 2013, with an optional pre-day of educational sessions on October 2.

The event boasts a compound ‘campus-to-cruise’ itinerary, where agents will gather in Los Angeles, CA for specialized training and a tour of Montrose Travel’s headquarters, then head down to Ensenada, Mexico on a 3-night cruise on Princess CruisesGolden Princess.

The ‘Homecoming’ Theme is the brainchild of the Business Development team, chosen in part due to the overwhelming feedback from the host’s family of independent contractors.

“Montrose Travel has spent decades establishing itself as a top 5 host in the travel industry,” said Andi Mysza, President of, “But we are first and foremost a people company. Our agents want to know who they are working with and those they consider to be their business partners. We consider our agents to be family, so it made sense to honor their request and bring our conference back home.”

This year’s conference boasts an eclectic mix of both education and fun, with highlights ranging from a full pre-conference day of CLIA and destination training to an opening night ‘Homecoming Dance’ party at Mysza’s home in Los Angeles.

“It’s the perfect opportunity to provide our agents with first-hand experience with a preferred supplier product, while keeping the conference experience fresh and relevant. We see the combinations of land and cruise, domestic and international destinations as the perfect marriage for this year’s conference agenda," said Mysza.

The host anticipates an even greater turn-out of both independent travel professionals as well as preferred supplier Business Development Managers. Interested agents may contact Montrose Travel directly at or 800-870-5799 to learn more about their hosting program as well as their upcoming conference.
