NCL Names Avoya Home-Based Agency of the Year for 2011

Norwegian Cruise Line has named Avoya Travel / American Express its Home-Based Agency of the Year for 2011, the cruise line’s highest agency honor.

During Avoya Travel’s annual National Conference onboard the Norwegian Epic, NCL EVP of Global Sales and Passenger Services Andy Stuart hosted an event for Avoya Travel to celebrate the successful year. Later, Stuart announced the award along with Camille Olivere, VP of sales; Alex Pinelo, director, national accounts; and Shanel Knight, program manager, home based accounts. This year is the third time Avoya Travel has received this award from NCL, previously receiving it in 2007 and 2006.

Avoya Travel has been a part of the American Express Travel Representative Network for over 20 years. The company has also been named “Travel Agency of the Year” by Carnival Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, American Express, Oceania Cruises, MSC Cruises and Brendan Vacations.
