o has announced the appointments of Becky Powell and Karen Goldberg to positions of vice president of member sales and service, U.S. and Canada, and director of sales and marketing for the hotels and resorts program, respectively.
Powell comes to the role with more than four years of service as managing director of member sales and services for the company. She will take over as vice president as of Jan. 3 from Cathy Holler. In the new position, Powell will oversee all business plans and benefits as it pertains to members; the advisor education program, Virtuoso Trust; development and mentoring programs including NextGen and Advisor Development; and, the management of Virtuoso's regional sales directors and inside sales support.
Goldberg's new position was effective as of Dec. 1. She came to the position with over 30 years experience under belt, including her tenure at the Hotel Plaza Athenee, New York, where she served as the director of sales and marketing for the past 12 years.
