Oyaka has launched an online meta-search engine, Oyaka.com, [www.oyaka.com], that enables travel agents and consumers to search for events and ticket providers, compare prices and buy tickets. Brad Kozlicki, one of the software developers who created the site, says the goal was to help people attend events even after a top-tier outlet runs out of tickets. Oyaka has established strategic partnerships with major ticket merchants and event-ticketing web sites. Users also can tap into Oyaka Mobile, which delivers event, price and provider information to cell phones. Oyaka Blog enables users to build their own communities of entertainment and sports fans. The company plans to add a local search engine that will give users access to information on free and low-cost community events.
