Nexion Conference Planned for New Orleans

Host agency Nexion plans its 2011 CoNexion Annual Conference in New Orleans, September 8-10.

“As Nexion has grown to more than 2,900 independent, U.S.-based travel professionals this past year, we’re expecting CoNexion 2011 to be our biggest and best conference to date,” says Nexion President Jackie Friedman.

“We have an incredible line up of workshops planned for leisure and corporate agents, a trade show with 75 plus of our preferred supplier partners for agents to get valuable product information and networking opportunities. The fact that we’re in the fun and festive city of New Orleans brings an additional level of excitement,” Friedman said.

“We have been building up to CoNexion 2011 all year,” continues Friedman. “We will offer an extensive agenda with multiple opportunities for our agents to increase their knowledge. This will allow them to make lasting ‘CoNexions’ through networking with fellow members, our preferred supplier partners and Nexion staff,” Friedman said.

“Members can expect three special days of incredible energy, expansive thinking and idea generation – all geared to help our agents be successful independent travel professionals,” Friedman said.

Nexion reports it has also arranged for a pre-conference familiarization tour opportunity of New Orleans with Monograms and a post-conference ship inspection along with cruise opportunity with NCL.

In addition to its networking and education program, Nexion’s member conference will include fun events, On the final night of the conference, Nexion is doing it up New Orleans-style with a Mardi Gras event including a Masquerade Ball and an evening filled with Nexion magic.
