Robbi Hamida has been promoted to vice president of air and corporate programs for Nexion, the host agency. An 18-year veteran of the travel industry, Hamida most recently served as Nexion’s director of strategic air programs.
In his new role, Hamida will oversee Nexion’s strategies for further increasing its air, car, hotel, rail, and travel insurance bookings with the host agency’s supplier partners. He will also lead its ticketing teams – including for the Simple Nexion Air Program (SNAP!) that he guided through its 2011 launch. Hamida reports directly to Nexion President Jackie Friedman.

Hamida will also oversee efforts to enhance Nexion’s corporate program offerings and business-to-business (B2B) marketing initiatives, all while consulting directly with Nexion member agents on a regular basis. Additionally, Hamida will educate them on Nexion’s supplier partnerships.
In 2008, Hamida joined Nexion as its director of agent development. Prior to that, Hamida was a hosted agent affiliated with Nexion.
